What kind of media institution might distribute your Media product and why?
There are five different types of ways to distribute media. Through film studios, Television, The Web and DVD.
If we distribute the product through film studios, it would go into one of the three categories:
- Major
-Mini major
-Independent
Examples of majors are Columbia Pictures, Universal Studios, Warner Bros, Walt Disney Pictures, 20th Century Fox and Paramount Pictures

Another way of us distributing it is through the web. This is where anyone can put their movie on without any charge. They could also put it on the internet just for fun, or even just to show off their skills. Examples are YouTube, Facebook, Myspace and Twitter.

We could also distribute through television. Some examples of this are Film 4 and BBC. Normally, films which are televised are to help up coming directors in indepentent companies. And sometimes, these channels also help promote films after there DVD release.
